Most Influential Men In Known History
When it comes to influential in my opinion is the value they brought to humanity as a whole. Now I know many will disagree, but i’m not here to say I’m right or wrong, just saying why I believe these men are to truly be praised for what they did and taught overall deserves praise indeed. In a certain extent I’m giving Value to those who gave the most back to their people. These men are praised by billions of people as noble human beings, Servants of God.
Moses Peace be with him
Moses was adopted son of pharaoh. He had might on his side and riches. It is said that he was saved as an infant by a miracle, a revelation to his mother to place him in basket and put in stream and God will ensure his safe keeping and return to her. Infant Moses gets found by pharaoh wife. She pleads he isn’t from among the children of Israel and they need a child of their own. Pharaoh accepts it, Moses is now adopted. He is returned to his mother thru breast feeding as service mothers would do such things.
Moses grows up with egypt at his service, being the pharoah son means he is next possible pharaoh. He gets a calling to save his people and he Abandons it all to serve and save the enslaved people. we won’t get into all given details but lets focus mainly on his transition of positions.
Why ? why would he do that ? To serve his Creator as simple as that. Can someone give me a better reason some would would give up all that to be a persecuted man because he wanted to salve the Israelites from slavery ? I try to pay attention to such things as many might over look it, but that act is truly heroic.
His impact on history has helped the growth of the nations of Israel as well many surrounding tribes. I would like to point out that I don’t fully agree with somethings in scripture and ill leave that to lack of understanding but from what I have read from the Torah, the Bible and the Quran. I like the mentions in the Quran the best.
Moses was a strong individual who fought, killed even in retaliation to abuse against innocent ( thus why God accepted his repentance ), If he had an army to fight pharaoh, he would have defeated him. Allah though had different plans and destroyed pharaoh and his whole army with ease.
These are some of the reasons why he is one of the most influential men In known history in my opinion.
Jesus peace be with him
Jesus the son of Mary, is also titled in The Quran as the Messiah, word of Allah, Spirit of Allah. Jesus has also played a great role that brought mankind great benefits when it comes to compassion and forgiveness. What I notice is Jesus didn’t shy from confronting the hypocrites, even calling their hypocrisy to their face. Jesus was not intimidated by their positions and what people thought of them, he knew them and called them out.
For example Luke 13 : 10 On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues, 11and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. 12When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” 13Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.
14 Indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, the synagogue leader said to the people, “There are six days for work. So come and be healed on those days, not on the Sabbath.”
15 The Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Doesn’t each of you on the Sabbath untie your ox or donkey from the stall and lead it out to give it water? 16 Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?”
Jesus message clearly preached about being good, helping others, loving one another, took it to the point where he said. if they hit you on one cheek, give him the other. A perfect example also with peter defending him from the unjust arrest against him. He told peter to put the sword down and that those who live by the sword, die by the sword.
